Concept and Vision:

For the competition, Montenegro Stadium is visioned to be a landmark in the city, there by promoting community building, commercial and civic development.

We have endeavored to achieve this objective through:

1.Inclusiveness: The socio economic disparity which is a major concern for the city is carefully dealt with the built structure being designed in a way that it welcomes all citizens from different economic strata. This ensures that people

feel due regard in the space and eventually break the barrier between higher and lower strata. Having said that the different strata are segregated keeping in mind their needs and views.

2. Community space: A sophisticated design approach in which landscape area and the public spaces invite people to spend quality time and interact with each other.

3.Sustainability: The initiative is to have a self -sustaining stadium which has inbuilt water management and green interventions to reduce the impact of the built environment. The green intervention is also designed in a way to help

capture, filter and percolate the run off water from the catchment area of the site. The integration of photo-bioreactors on the building facade also reduces the carbon footprint of the building.

The complex will be an efficacious space, competing with global infrastructure standards, and inspiring young talent from all strata of society to pursue sports as a career with holistic character development. A practicing and performing ground for the future sports legends.
