Dhamma Anurakkhi Meditation Centre is one of Amalgrain’s social projects, located in Pullivendula, India.

Set across 19 acres, the campus is designed to host 3 fully functional courses simultaneously. Every building is passively ventilated, with systems for on-site composting and rainwater collection, filtration, and reuse — all contributing to a self-sustained campus.

The centre held its first Tapodana program on 3 April 2022. It is designed to run long courses and Short/Teenager courses simultaneously along with ten day courses with dedicated areas for each. First phase development of the center was started in Jan 2023 with Teenager/Short Course Area to accommodate 68 Mediators.

More than a project, it is a space shaped by intention — to support peace, self-awareness, and inner balance. At Amalgrain, we believe our work extends beyond design. Through projects like this, we deepen our understanding of place, culture, and the true meaning of building for people.
